Gabriella Joins Family

Meet our newest family member--Gabriella Gabrielsen who was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 3, 2008. Notice the fun curly hair. Her birth father is a musician who may have had some Indian blood. Moke likes her very much.

Capital Expands Building

Capital is adding over 8,000 square feet to the back of their building in Draper. Richard took the picture because one opened the back door and WOW! A 20 feet fall! I am afraid of heights. Troy said that the special footings will go in this week and the framing next. Notice who Saren has brought to work with her.

We thought you might enjoy these pictures of Reed at the MTC.

It is Time to Shave Ice

Sam and Garn came to town this week to shave ice for the State Golf Tournament. Jennifer helped them. Thought you might like to share the fun.

The New Look at Downstairs at 11100 Hickory Bark.

We thought the food storage might have a rough time in the hot Boise warehouse so it is downstairs. The "Other bedroom" now has a new King Bed with all new bedding. Come on, Come On to Our House.

The New South Junior High School

After 80 years, the junior high where I spent 25 years of my life teaching will be torn down this summer. Pictured is the new on which faces Cassia. It is right across from our old stake center.

John and Sara

I thought the family might be interested in seeing pictures of John and a girl from New Mexico that he has been dating.

Wheat in the Crawl Space

When we moved to 11100 W. Hickory Bark, we stored our wheat in the crawl space under the garage. We were out of wheat so while Chad was here with his agile body, we ask him to get some out. It is accessed through the storage room. I forgot about spiders, etc. but we did get out 50 lbs, washed that which spilled out when the container hit the cement floor and we are ready to bake!

Fun in Idaho Falls

One of the fun things to do when we get together is play Hand & Foot. My picture was so bad on this I thought that I would cover it with a cartoon. So I typed in Glamour Girl and got 3,000 hits of porno..another lesson learned.

Grandpa Gets Infusion

For the next year, Ron will check into the hospital on three consecutive days every month to get an infusion. It screens out the anti-bodies and gives him more energy.

Called to Serve in...

ARMENIA!!!
You may wonder where that is (so did I) but I think you could consider it part of the Middle East, Europe, or Asia. I will be reporting on May 28th and speaking Armenian. I am quite excited and can't wait to start my new and challenging adventure.

Chad Turns Twenty-Seven

Chad Freeman (Screamin ) was born in Federal Way, Washington. He will always be special because his middle name declares my lineage. Chad and his wife, Melissa and two daughters live in Arizona were Chad is a super-salesman for Capital.

Happy Birthday Joseph Scott Gabrielsen

I love those blue eyes, and am surprised at the straight hair. He shares his grandmother's love of food.

Scott was born May 19, 1979. Since he is the oldest son of our oldest son, he is the "Don" of our grandchildren and is such a good example of service, education and caring. I'd like to share some of the pictures taken along the way:

Steven Turns 18

Steven turned 18 this month. He is one of my heroes. His reputation is one of being a hard worker and we love it. Steven also plays hard; he likes to ski and bike, etc. He is also getting good on the guitar. Joe has been on the computer this week looking for just the right laptop for a college bound freshman.

A Great New Look

The Workmen came and went....we would like to show you our new front door area.

Randee Visits Boise

We didn't get a chance to do all the fun things I had planned, but we did get to the hair dresser. Randee's new hair do turned out so cute.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DENAE

Yes, folks this is the big 25 for Denae. I wish that I had pictures of her driving around the Valley giving shots to diabetics, etc. However, enjoy some scenes from the past.

Mission Time for Reed

Reed got his mission call last Thursday. He will be serving in the New York South ( Mandarin Speaking). Some googling found that among others, it serves the 3rd largest Chinese speaking community in the nation. He will enter the mission home on May 14th.

Todd was in Montana so a conference call was made among him, Liz, Lance and Laine in Salt Lake and Reed and friends in Rexburg. Reed opened the summons, which was one of the first signed by President Monson, and read it to the excited gathering.

WE are so pleased with this opportunity that he has to learn a language and still have to express his testimony and knowledge in ENglish, too.
