Animals in New Harmony

These kittens are named Burt and Ernie. Ernie is on his back and Burt is on his belly. Their job is to kill the mice.

This is Chloe. She is a Border Collie. Her job is to scare off the deer, rabbits and other varmints.

Laine Gets New Braces

In December Laine got her new braces. They are blue green and will need to be tighten about once a month for a year and a half.

RAndee Featured in Ward Newsletter

From the Hickories Herald--Jan-Feb.

Joe & RAndee were born in Pocatello, ID. He was born three minutes sooner and weighed 8 ounces more. Randee graduated from Borah High and while attending Boise State University, accompanied the institute choirs. She has traveled to Asia, Europe, the Holy Land and participated in the Hill Cumorah Pageant.

Both her BA and MA Degrees in Math Education were awarded from BYU. After doing her student teaching at UVU, she was asked to join the faculty and served in different capacities during her 35 year tenure. Complications from multiple surgeries connected with a non-malignant brain tumor influenced her to retire early and come to Boise and live in the newly decorated "lower mezznine" so that she and her parents could take care of each other. Her many interests include music, gardening, exercising, Institute Classes and following the activities of her 22 nieces and nephews.

Elder Reed Gabrielsen is Home!

These shirts were designed by Lance. It was such an exciting time.

It seemed that Reed would never come down that stairs. David, Loriann, Moke and Gabriella were there waiting with us, too.

Liz got the first hug and she deservies it. 104 plus letters, lots of packages and wonderful spiritual advice came from her efforts.

Grandpa and Grandma were so happy to be on site. We flew down from Boise earlier that morning.

Introducing Isaac Inouye Cavanaugh

This is our little cutie!! He is so fun and so sweet. He was born on March 9, 2010 at 6:55 pm. He was 5 lbs and 15 ounces and 181/2 inches long. We will be blessing him on June 20th at 1pm. The address to the church building is 607 E Rocky Mouth Ln, Draper, Utah. We would love to see any that could attend!

The Challenge

RAndee and I put this puzzle together. The directions said for 13 yrs and older. It should have said for age 50 & younger because it took a long time to finish. Many times I threatened to call the puzzle company and insist that they did not send all the pieces but they did.....

Then we tore it down and sent it home with Todd's family so they could have the same fun.

JOhn and Sarah officially engaged!

John and Sarah were in Boise on December 19. It seemed like a good time to go snowmobiling in Cascade. First they carved their initials on a tree.

Then John brought out "THE RING". It is a beautiful square cut diamond set in platinum.

We'll all be there for the wedding on June 12th in Manti. YIPPEE!

Thanksgiving in SLC

Laine dressed Randee up as a gypsy. I'm sorry that I misssed the sandals. They were especially appropriate. Ron laughed as he asked, "I wonder if we could have gotten her on the plane?"

There was always a gang at the game table. Notice Lance's beautiful hair.

Randee, Liz's brother David Ence, Laine and Lance all headed for the train station. They went down to Gateway Mall to enjoy the decorations and have lunch.
