A Day in Moke's Life
Every Wednesday, Moke heads to the Salt Lake Indoor in Murray to play with his soccer buddies. Coach Kalin does everything to incorporate listening and physical skills for the kids. Of course, Moke is one of the best. He loves most to SCORE THOSE GOALS!!
As Coach Kalin was pointing out colors on the parachute they use for listening skills, he said " What is that color?", and the kids exclaimed," Green!", then he said,"What is that color?", and the kids yelled, "Red!" and coach Kalin said, "Yeah, Go UTES!" The kids, all but Moke scream, "Go Utes!" Moke says, "No Red! Blue! BYU COUAGARS!!!" That's a true Gabrielsen!!
After soccer, Moke and I hit the mall for some pretzels and people watching. Moke and I found the coolest popsicle! It was a three dollar Spider Man. Moke took ten licks, and then went on to the next amazing discovery. Spidey ended up in the garbage can!!
Of course, Jake couldn't miss out on the fun!! On his lunch break, he met us at the mall. Moke and he couldn't pass up the carousel. Moke wanted to ride the big chicken, but after that had become occupied, Jake talked him into riding the "cooler horse."
My mom and I talked over how photographic Moke's memory is. She comments that they will pass a store in the car, and Moke will point out to my mom what they had bought there! From boxers to pretzels. When Moke and I were at the mall, we passed a kiosk, and Moke pointed out in his cutest voice, "That is Baby Gabby's Bows." Sure enough, it was a kiosk filled with bows I had seen in baby Gabby's hair.
Our afternoon completed with Moke falling asleep in the car on the way home, and me tucking him into bed. What a cute little guy!!

A few other monsters at the Capital Party
It was almost like Christmas!
Jake was talking about his Halloween costume even before the weather started to cool. We headed to Jake's moms place in order to become beautiful geisha. She had a box of kimonos passed down from generations. This picture was taken at the Capital Halloween luncheon. Nobody could tell us for certain whom the prettier geisha was, Jake or I.

Reed's First Baptism

We thought that we would like to share these pictures of Reed. One is of a big baptism that they had. Reed baptized the first fellow that he had found (repairing his bike along the sidewalk), taught and baptized. THe other one is the missionaries in front of the US Open.
Reed writes that the CHinese seem to like to eat every part of the animal that we don't..He also says the CHinese are much more polite to the missionaries.
