Randee Honored by UVU

Randee was honored April 3rd at a ceremony which Liz, Laine, Loriann and Denae attended. Our congratulations on a job well done.

GAbe Called to TONGA

No pictures, but David Andrew Gabrielsen is called to serve in the Tonga Mission. His report date is August 19th.

Missionary Moments

Yes, the rumor is true. The mission papers for David Andrew Gabrielsen are now being processed. Where do you think he will be called?



David gets the news that he has been called to the Arizona Tempe Mission. His farewell will be April 12th at 1:30. He will enter the MTC on April 15th and after his 3 week stay will pick up his already ordered bike and go to work. Watch this column for address.

I am not sure what Katie is doing here, but she surely gets some cute expressions on her face. Katie writes that she is pleased that becoming a member of the church requires some effort on the part of the convert such as baptism. It helps remind them of their commitment.

Reed and his companion, Elder Xie from Cambodia . Reed is nicknamed Elder Too Tall, but he surely looks good to us. This mission is doing very well as far as converts, but the ward is so weak that it has a hard time holding them.

Gary's New "Do"

I haven't had a hair cut since June and all the perm is gone. The wrinkles say "78" and they are right.

This isn't Katie, but it does show one of the thousands of tied quilts the Relief Society has done. Katie said that she got it from the mission home. I remember tying that very one.

Randee Settles In

  Randee enjoys going to church with us. This outfit was one that she had made in Malaysia 25 years ago.

 

 

We are making Valentines. We bought some bright papers, some stickers and had fun.

Randee enjoys cuddling up downstairs with the space heater and a good book.

Each Tuesday and Thursday we head out to our Fit and Fall Proof class.  Randee has a special trainer just for her.

 

 

Mission Papers are IN!

David's mission papers are being processed ASAP. That means he should have a mission call within a couple of weeks. Any predictions?

GAbe is determined to do one lesson a day and get this physics on-line class finished. He will take time off to go skiing at night because it is a bargain price at $10.

Randee enjoys the warmth of the fireplace and is wearing a beautiful

jade necklace that is heart shaped. She seems to enjoy being in Boise even if we have had more snow than usual.

Kate enjoyed the presents and the wrapping. Daddy Scott put together the stroller, bed, etc.

My Time To Babysit

So it is no secret that in the Gabrielsen household, we take turns babysitting. On my week off, I usually help out. Momma G went to get a plantars wart removed and sister\aunt Denae showed up as the babysitter. These pictures depict the type of babysitting experience that was had by all!

Laine loved playing the organ; she can follow the downbeat very well.

Those cupboards need cleaning. Mom and Dad have plenty of canned corn for the occasion.

Under the sink held many marvels. When Liz cleans, one knows it is CLEAN.

Lance in his " shirt of many colors" touches up the kitchen cupboards and the supports for the granite counter.

Todd and Liz are ready to go to the Christmas Party of Source One. Todd received his plaque and a promise of a vacation somewhere. Last year they went to Education Week.

Lance loves color. He chose this red Impala for the rental car.

Yes, that is a Utah tie that Lance is wearing...He lost the bet. We heard that Jake agreed to shave his head.

We haven't been together since before my mission! It was fun to sit around and celebrate Saren's birthday.
